emergency procedures

We provide expertise in planning the movement of crowds during an emergency. We help any organisation that needs to manage large numbers of people or move them safely and quickly in high risk or emergency evacuation situations. We have particular expertise in designing and implementing procedures that cater for the special requirements of people with movement or sensory restrictions.
When required we go beyond the requirements of evacuation due to fire and consider the implications for plans and management of terrorist/hostile threats. For example, the choice of emergency response is now more complex and may involve a choice between emergency evacuation (which may be simultaneous, phased and/or directional) and internal shelter. This requires more detailed consideration of the available information, decision-making and training for managers and staff.
