This role is based in our London, UK office.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Build valued relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders and develop a portfolio of business.
- Partner with clients to identify and diagnose their needs and lead the delivery of projects, coordinating teams across the business.
- Lead presentations and proposals and provide subject matter insights to bids and projects.
- Create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
- Deliver high quality work products, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems.
- Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects, consistently driving projects to completion making sure that at the work delivered is industry leading.
- Support the implementation of our growth strategy and alignment with the broader GHD business.
- Support the implementation of the marketing/communications strategy for Movement Strategies to strengthen our brand and position as a leader in this field.
- Create a positive learning culture and coaching and mentoring junior team members to help them develop. The role will also have line management responsibility.
- Support Movement Strategies' objectives in terms of financial performance, risk management and strategic development, in line with company values.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrable experience in relevant industry or consultancy and specialist in technical area or sector
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong standard of written and spoken English.
- Experience in business development, including new proposition development.
- Strong project and people management skills.
- Able to manage and work effectively in teams.
- Professional presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, to complete reports and proposals, and active listening skills.

The Executive Advisor will need to have a solid understanding and ability to articulate principles of people movement with proven understanding of industry standards and guidelines. However, it may be that a candidate would develop these once in post should their experience be from a different sector.
