About The European Healthcare Design Conference

Organised by Salus, this years European Healthcare Design Conference (EHDC) will be at the Royal College is Physicians, London on the 9th June 2025. A pivotal event in the calendar for all Healthcare Architects, Contractors, Healthcare Planners, and Trusts looking to keep up with the fast-paced developments in healthcare design.

This year’s theme ‘beyond the hospital: form, function and the future of health ecosystem’ holds a key statement to the health transition the UK. But how do we design sustainable and budget-friendly functional hospitals that meet the needs of a growing population?

Leeds General Infirmary -  Supporting the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust on design concerns for clinical departments

MS employed novel modelling techniques to provide greater insight into their likely patient throughout. Providing greater understanding on which facilities are likely to be under the greatest strain, likely be down-sized and exactly how big their patient waiting areas needed to be. This created a correctly balanced service to serve real patient needs.
