To service our growing pipeline of work we’ve significantly grown our team in the last 4 months, across both the Movement Consulting and Movement Analytics teams.

Bachar Kabalan has joined Movement Strategies as a Senior Consultant. Bachar has 5 years of research experience, during which he focused on pedestrian modelling of rail stations.  He is currently working on a range of stadia and civic+ cultural projects, as well as rail stations. Bachar has a civil engineering degree.

Claudio Torres has joined Movement Strategies in our O2 team, having spent a number of years in a multi-national consultancy business, playing a leading role in their advisory team. Claudio brings a significant amount of knowledge of the transportation sector, which will help inform our work in both the Highways and Rail sectors, providing robust insights to transport operator and infrastructure owner clients. 

Fiona Lockwood has joined Movement Strategies as our HR and Operations Manager. Fiona is returning to Movement Strategies, having spent a couple of years in the luxury hospitality services sector.

Sebastian Stansfield has joined Movement Strategies as a Data Analyst, delivering projects on behalf of our partner O2, using mobile network data. He previously worked at The University of Hong Kong where he was a researcher in the school of architecture using data to study walkability within cities and the impact of high-speed rail in Chinese cities. Prior to completing a MSc in Smart Cities and Urban Analytics at UCL, Seb was a project manager at Network Rail.

Elliot McBride has joined Movement Strategies as a Data Analyst, delivering projects on behalf of our partner O2, using mobile network data for a range of clients, with a focus on the Transport sector. Elliot has previously worked with Ground work London's Geospatial Data Services team to deliver projects across both the public and private sectors.

Simon Weigh has joined Movement Strategies from a technology consultancy, where he helped many blue-chip clients in the Financial Sector stay at the forefront of tech solutions. Prior to this he developed his analytic skills at University of Warwick where he completed a MSc in mathematics and physics. Simon has joined the Movement Consulting team, delivering projects across our existing sectors, with a particular focus on creating models and visualisations. Simon will also contribute to the development of our new sectors, such as Healthcare and Corporate Estates.

Francesca Nevin has joined Movement Strategies as PA to our Associate Directors and as our Office Manager. Fran has previously worked within the property sector and is looking forward to the new challenge.

Jake Hamer has joined Movement Strategies as a Consultant, having gained valuable transport sector experience in a global multi-disciplinary consultancy, delivering a range of pedestrian modelling and human factors projects. Jake has significant experience of several industry recognised software tools, including Legion and InControl. Jake graduated with a MSc (Eng) degree in Transport Planning and Engineering from the University of Leeds.
